This is a personal site and I try to keep what it collects as small as possible. No accounts, no login, no newsletter. If you come in, read something and leave, nothing that identifies you is stored.
I use Vercel Analytics to know which notes get read and which countries people come from. It uses no cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser: it counts visits in aggregate and anonymously. I cannot see who you are, cross that with another source, or follow you to other sites.
If you write to me from the contact page, I store what you send (name, contact, topic and message) in a private database hosted on Neon so I can read it and reply. Your IP address is not stored: only a code derived from it, used to stop spam. I do not use that data for anything else, and if you ask me to delete your message, I will.
There is a single cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you prefer to read in Spanish or English. It cannot track anything, it is not shared with anyone, and you can delete it whenever you want.
Some notes embed YouTube videos (in nocookie mode) or tweets. Those services have their own policies and may record that you played the content. They only load on the notes where they appear.
